  • Born and Raised in San Antonio, Texas

My life began as a child of two Mexican immigrant parents who had the opportunity to come to the United States in search of work and prosperity.  My childhood experience was a combination of living in the United States and staying in Mexico several months of the year. This experience allowed me to see and experience the diverse life of both countries.  I was born on the westside and grew up on the southside of San Antonio, Texas and attended public School in San Antonio ISD. I was taught Christian values and visited church regularly. I am a first generation college graduate and I had the opportunity to attend the Alamo Community Colleges and obtained a Pre Med Biology degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and four Masters degrees to include degrees in Business and Bilingual education.

I volunteered all my life and have given my life to community service and understand the meaning of hard work. My father worked in construction and I had the opportunity to work manual labor jobs to include homes and businesses. I have a high degree of gratitude and appreciation for the blessings I have had due to the difficulty of my journey which helps me to understand that others also have life challenges and they are sometimes even more challenging than mine.  I have seen this disparity since I was a child and see what levels people enter into this Maze called Life.  Many will say that it is not their fault or their doing that others have challenges and while this is true, it is neither that person’s choice to have had certain circumstances since.  I am appreciative of my capabilities and want others to have the opportunities, knowledge and opportunities to obtain their potential.  I strive to give them this picture by my actions, volunteerism, giving and guidance.  While I have given countless hours to this good cause all I can say is that I hope I helped even one person’s life.

Economic Growth
Safer Neighborhoods
Eliminate Property Tax for over 65 -Reduce Taxes
  • Economic Growth: Promoting policies that ensure economic growth benefits for everyone in the community. This includes support for small businesses, great schools, fair wages, and job opportunities.
  • Education and Workforce Development: Investing in education and training programs to equip people with the required skills needed for the current economy. This includes access to quality education from early childhood through higher education and vocational training.
  • Affordable Housing: Implementing policies to make housing more affordable, preventing homelessness, and assisting in the financial challenges on families due to inflation.
  • Healthcare Access: Supporting affordable healthcare, which is necessary for a healthy  and productive workforce.  Reducing high medical costs helps everyone from incurring high medical expenses especially after the recent pandemic crisis.
  • Enhanced Law Enforcement: Increased Police Presence by hiring more officers  to deter criminal activity and respond quickly to incidents. Increase pay for first responders.
  • Specialized Units: Establishing specialized units to tackle specific types of crime, such as drug trafficking, gang violence, and cybercrime.
  • Technology and Data: Utilizing technology and data analytics to identify crime and predict criminal behavior, improving police effectiveness
  • Support Services: Providing support services for at-risk individuals, including mental health services, substance abuse treatment, job training programs and positive youth program activities.
  • Eliminate Property Tax for individuals over 65: Our senior community lives on a fixed income and are no longer employed. High property  taxes have caused these families to lose their homes and experience unnecessary financial stress and after years of work they deserve a better quality of life.
  • Individual Financial Relief: Reducing income taxes increases workers take-home pay, which can alleviate financial stress and improve quality of life.
  • Government Efficiency:  Reducing taxes will also force the government to be more efficient with their spending and prioritize essential services.
  • Invest in Schools
Championing Quality Education in Struggling School Systems
Our children deserve the best education possible, and we need to revitalize our schools. We need to fully fund education, create innovative teaching methods, and provide access to essential resources that empower both students and teachers.
  • Investing in Teacher Support
    Empowering Educators for Success
Teachers are the backbone of our education system. We will prioritize professional development opportunities, competitive salaries, and improved classroom resources to ensure educators have the support they need to thrive and inspire our students.

Engaging Parents and Communities
Building Stronger Connections
A successful education system requires active participation from parents and community members. We need to foster partnerships between schools, families, and local organizations to create a collaborative environment that encourages student success.

Focusing on Student Well-Being
Addressing the Whole Child
We recognize that a child’s well-being is crucial for academic success. [Candidate's Name] will promote initiatives that focus on mental health support, counseling services, and after-school programs to help every student reach their full potential.
